Have you ever wanted to search for a phrase that you had in mind for a specific TV series? ...Well, I have set up a blog that helps you to do just that! I have created a database from the subtitles of some of the most popular TV series.
So far I have the following 3 TV series, with more to come bi-weekly:
- The Big Bang Theory
- How I Met Your Mother
- Lost
Go along to my blog and choose a TV series you are interested in:
You will then make your way to an Evernote notebook that I have made public for that particular TV series...
You will see that there are 183 notes for the TV series, "How I Met Your Mother", which is the number of episodes there are in 8 seasons so far. You can use the search bar at the top just as you would with any search engine. In the web version of Evernote you will need to use CTRL + F to search within individual notes. If, for instance, you wanted to search for the phrasal verb, "Figure out" (see the image below), use quotation marks (".....") to search for the exact phrase... and then you can search the individual notes within that search result by using the CTRL + F search function. The iOS, android and windows phone versions of Evernote have a built-in function to search individual notes for words/ phrases.
Since we are searching the actual subtitles of each episode, you will easily be able to locate the phrase in a specific season, episode and time-frame. From there you can go along to Netflix or a DVD or wherever... and find that specific scene really easily.
So... go ahead and visit my blog:

Happy Searching!
